1- IDENTIFY EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE LOOKING FOR (LIST THE INTANGIBLES)

2- IDENTIFY, IN DETAIL, WHY YOU NEED THIS PERSON

Is there a specific problem they will solve for your team?

What is their ‘why’ for existing on your team?

3- DESCRIBE, IN DETAIL, WHAT THEY WILL BE DOING ON YOUR TEAM

What decisions will they help with?

What responsibilities will be given to them?

What leadership role will they play?

How will their role evolve over time?

4- PRESENT THIS ‘IDEAL PERSON’ TO YOUR TEAM AND GET THEIR FEEDBACK

How does your team see this person fitting in?

Does this role make sense to your team?

Does your team see value in this role/person?

5- LIST PEOPLE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED, CURRENTLY KNOW OR PLACES YOU COULD RECRUIT THIS EXACT PERSON
